CSM V5 to V6 database conversion issue
« on: June 06, 2013, 08:42:50 AM »
When I use the setup wizard to convert the database, I receive an error that the database is either not running, or the username/password is incorrect.  The database is certainly running, and no username/password is requested/required when converting from a V5 database.

Mitel remoted into the server, and the conversion worked perfectly.  The tech claims it didn't work because I was using Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) to run the process.

Wow someone else that actually uses CSM!

Are there actually many other CSM installs out there?

If I ask for changes, I'm told the "thousands" of other users have not made similar requests.  I would find it odd that there would be thousands of other users, yet so few on these boards.

Well from what I understand you can count the number of them that are in this country on one hand!

I'm sure the only CSM's in Australia would be those in Demo Kits. I don't believe it ever took off or is even available here even though it is in SWB.

The CSM software was more often seen if a 5000 was involved. In our area Prairie Fyre or some other option was used with a MCD.
