Newer versions of UCA require the standard user to have admin rights to install.  This is big issue because most of our users do not have admin rights.    Also how do you handle deploying newer versions of UCA of the WAN?

We have been real disappointed in UCA 4.1.25.  Does UCA 5.0 fix alot of the flaky behavior of 4.1.25?

Are you asking about running UCA or deploying it?  Those are two different things.

As in your other post in this same forum, the best answer is to deploy the package at boot up before login so that admin rights are there to install.  A knowledge of Group Policy Objects and application deployment will be necessary.

You can also search on my earlier posts for more detailed instructions.

If the issue is about running the app after deployment, I cannot comment on that since our users have local admin rights to their machines.  It's a small shop of 65 users and I see no reason to limit local rights.
