Could be the trunk isn't disconnecting from a previous call.Try this: Call in on the trunk. Have the person that answered just hang up on you. You stay on the line. See if it rings back to the operator or auto attendant.Ralph
Hmm that gives me an idea for a problem that I'm having at the moment with one customer! They get one or two rings, and then the call stops. Given that it's so quick, they don't usually get the chance to see a number that is calling.

If you have some sort of surge protection on the trunk I would look there and if that isn't it I would see if you have the same problem with only a butt set connected to the trunk (then let your provider know they need to fix it).
