Direct SIP calls to PSTN via Mitel
« on: April 02, 2012, 11:40:02 AM »
Hi,

We currently have the below topology working

[PSTN] <-------isdn30--------> MITEL CX3000 <-------sip trunk---------->LYNC 2010

Calls from the PSTN can route to Lync users OK by traversing the mitel using ARS, and Lync users can call IP phones registered to the Mitel, but when I try and call PSTN from Lync it hangs. According to the route plan on Lync it is leaving the server OK and hitting the mitel.

It could be due to the fact that the  the only way I can get the Lync to call mitel based extensions is by using digit absorbtion on the SIP trunk, is there a better way of programming this?

Thanks
Duncan
