newbie looking for guidance with all things Mitel
« on: April 28, 2011, 12:43:17 PM »
Greetings,

I inherited a Mitel phone system when I started my new job, back in September of 2010. I believe it was installed in 2004 or 2005.

7100 management console
3300 router
~100 users/phones, ~20 5220, ~80 5201

I have been able to get my head wrapped around the web interface enough to make new users, change extensions, make network settings, etc., most of the basic stuff. Now I need to learn more. For instance, I believe a system update/upgrade would benefit me, but I'm not sure how to accomplish this. Also there are other issues that have popped up since we made a router change. I'll explain more in the forum area that is appropriate for my problem.

I've been in education tech since 1990, although I've never had to deal with phones. So this is all new to me.
