Recycling a 6920
« on: January 07, 2026, 07:15:56 AM »
I am trying to recycle a discarded Mitel 6920.  I hope to use it to replace my ancient Polycom phone.
I have managed a factory reset to delete the previous user's details, and the phone now asks for the IP address of a Border Gateway.
The PIN number 73738 gets me into the "advanced" menu on the phone,  but there is nowhere I can load the log-in details of my own SIP server.
Does anybody know the "Magic Incantation" to do this?

check the status to get it's ip address and connect with a web browser.. you should be able to program everything from that.

i think the default admin password is 22222.. i think.

You will need to change to the sip firmware.

Think 7.2 might be the latest, I could make the files within this version available if requested
