Ring group members present/absent
« on: March 18, 2024, 05:48:39 AM »
Goodmorning,

Does anybody know if it's possible to set a rule that on a specific ring group always a member need to be present?
So when the last one who is changing his group to absent (in MiCollab) get's a notification that it's not possible to switch his ringgroup off because no other people are present.

Not that I'm aware of.

What are you trying to accomplish?

We have a ring group with 10 managers. (Emergency phone number)
Every week 1 of them is responsible for the emergengy service.
Sometimes the respective manager is signing himself out of the ring group before the new respective manager is signing in. (so between that time the number is not in service)

You could create a second ring group with all of the same members in it and set them all present & "Ring All", then set the first group to overflow to that. After a couple of calls overflowing to the ring all group, the users should start managing their presence better.
