Mitel 470 Permission set/digit barring
« on: July 02, 2021, 05:07:59 AM »
Hello All,

I'm struggling with a permission set/digit barring setup on new Mitel 470. I've set below for in country only calls,

Permission set and barred list in attached,

Even if user/terminal has such above permission set I can dial abroad...

any Idea?

You can ask your service provider to block international calls

can you explain how you dial IDD from the terminal?

here is an example from my set-up:

example, to call Mitel UK +44 1291 436 067,
9 is our exchange access
user dials 9 00 44 1291 436 067

if IDD is to be blocked, the users external digit barring has digit 00 barred. They can still dial other local or national numbers but not International.
