add mailbox to a ddi

hi all,

Pretty new to mitel management and im trying to figure out how to attach a mailbox to a direct line for our finance team. I have created the mailbox and that works for their extension however not if your ringing in externally using their ddi. any help would be greatly appreciated.

check the index used as 1st alternative for your extension ; thencheck in your first alternative that all the forms set "this "( attached)

I have first alternatives set up and the index for the extension in question is set to that number (number 2 in this case). its till not working though. this is a ring group extension if that makes any difference?

Calls from ring groups do not follow phone setting. There is an overflow point value. Just be aware, when it hit vm it will present ring group dn
