Business Console call history
« on: March 12, 2020, 09:08:55 PM »
Trying to set this up, but the help file link doesn't work. I have got the Postgres installed on the same server and I show connected but not getting any data after my test calls. Anyone done this recently? Or do you have a copy of the file(s) the link would have downloaded? 64 bit for this site

The documentation links to bigsql.org I believe. I don't have the help file handy but either way, this gets redirected and in the end you get to a spot to download the Postgres but it isn't the same as depicted. I'm thinking I missed some grant values. It is hard to test this as you must take over the console if installing on another system which is my case. There is no try before buy and this IMHO means that you either need a second license or the company must be out of business for troubleshooting. I tried to get them to allow me to force calls to a deskset but the operator didn't want this. Another Mitel fail.

In Postgre :

Creat a password for your Db : (for example : 123456)
Create DB with the name : IP_CONSOLE_5550  ( case sensitive)
Create user with the name : ipconsoleattendant   ( case sensitive)
Attached 1

go back in the mivb console --> option --> history call

in the DB password : 123456
name of the database : 127.0.0.1 ( if your postgree in local)

Then test your connetion , that all

Turnoff your local firewall.
Use 127.0.0.1
Restart the computer (check postgre running)

I am working on another customer who is having issues with this in teleworker mode. I am able to hijack one of their consoles for testing. I am currently installing the Postgres on my pc and will be able to duplicate this issue or not. But have better control to isolate this
