69xx phones are going to have MiNet, so said webinar.
« on: July 09, 2019, 03:18:11 PM »
I listed to the Mitel User Group webinar, Desktop Update today and was surprised when I thought I heard the presenter say 69xx phones have or will have MiNet.  One is already MiNet capable and others would be.  I asked specifically if this was true for MiVoice Office 250.  I didn't give a date.

Once I receive the recording, I will listen again and post the model numbers.

They already do have MiNet on the 69xx series phones. They just aren’t supported by the MiVO-250.

TE,

You reminded me of MiNet for Business.  I wonder if the presenter was confused or I misunderstood?  I specifically mentioned MiVoice Office 250.

I thought I asked if MiNet would be for MiVoice Office 250.

It will be interesting and probably disappointing to listen to the Webinar again.

Jeff

To me the only 6900 phone that makes sense in minet would be the 6940.  That way the phone could layout like a 5340,5360 or 8568 although being able to get the Bluetooth handset and Dect headset would be nice with 6920 and 6930.  My question is Mitel has always claimed that the 250 can’t handle the 6900 series set in Minet because of resources but can’t you put 6900 series phones on a 3300 AX? I wish they would just throw a SDD hard drive in the Mitel 250...then you run phone manager and 6900 phones in SIP or Minet.

Willtech,

If it was an issue of hard drive space then they would just require you to have a PS-1.

Thanks,

TE
