Mitel Direct Dial Ring Group

Hi All,

I am wanting to set up a direct dial and use that number as a ring group. I understand how to set up a ring group however i have never done this with a direct dial before.

Could anyone help me /point me in the right direction with where to find and configure direct dials?

What do you mean by direct dial?

Are you referring to a DID/DDI from the outside that people would call or are you just looking at an internal Directory Number [DN] being dialed that would ring the group?

Hi TE

Im referring to a DID/DDI that people can call from the outside. We use a SIP connection so thought it would have been under Trunks > SIP but no such joy

You need to set the SIP trunk to go to the CRT. Generally this is setup by default.


The CRT is under system>Trunk Related>Call routing tables
This is a top down list so make sure that your phone number is above the E and *. Just direct it to the Hunt group you have setup.

Thanks for the reply, however i dint seem to have the option in the admin console for system>trunk related. Also i am unable to find an option called 'trunk related' anywhere.

What options you do have under the System folder?

You may not have the true administrator credentials.
