I mean Linc is more or less a PBX in itself - what they need is hardphones and gateways. That has been the pitch from the beginning, but if they go into the hardware business that would be the news....

if its any help I help develop a product that links a telephone system to OCS / lync, this will provide RCC for call control. it does this through CTI, and works very well... thx

Lync does not really have Dual Forking, like OCS. However, a simular set-up can be achieved through the use of EDHU. Lync integration is supported on MCD 4.2

Hi, i stupidly didnt reply to the post i wrote a while ago. the Product i managed is called netCONNECT OCS / Lync gateway.

we connect via the CTI link therefore get around all the SIP issues. it is offically an RCC product, so you can use your Mitel equipment with Lync for call control, but you can also use the lync client as the voice service if you needed to.
please let me know if anyone is interested in a totally free trial. thanks
