Dialing from Outlook
« on: April 11, 2018, 05:20:18 AM »
Maybe a stupid question, but is it possible to install some plugin to enable dialing from Outlook on a site where only ICP 3300 & MBG is installed? I know it is possible when UCA client is installed with a UCA (or MiCollab) server.

I don't know of any way anymore... There used to be Unified Communicator Express, a serverless client PC based Search-and-Dial and Screen Pop for the Mitel 5300 Series IP Phone. Unfortunately, it was discontinued in 2015. Since then, no replacement I have seen without UCA or other server based system.

Thank you for your answer. I wish the is some serverless solution like it was with UC Express, but probably the only option now is to install virtual MiCollab server with the "MiCollab Virtual Base for Free MiCClient" base pack (part number 54006039) and install the regular UCA clients on the user's PCs.
