Cell phone twinning
« on: November 01, 2017, 05:18:12 PM »
Wondering if someone out there came across this issue before.... we have cell phone twinning turned on for a few desk phone users but when someone calls their DID from outside, the cell picks up but there is no audio on both sides of the line!!! Now if someone in the office dials my extension (4 digit) and I pick up with my cell the connection works fine. If that same someone in the office dials my full 10 digit DID from the same phone that dialed my extension it does not work. So in short >>> cell twinning works with 4 digit dialing but not with 10 digit - any ideas?

Running MiCollab 7.3.0.204 and MiVoice Business 8.0 SP1

thank you

kdeen,

Does an outside conference call work? Meaning if you have multiple people from outside on a conference call can they hear each other?

Thanks,

TE

TE, I called 2 cell numbers from my desk phone using the conference button and all 3 parties could hear one another.

Are you using MBG for SIP Trunks? Might be worth trying if you have the licenses.

as an FYI, we did get this issue resolved. Under SIP options on the MBG, the Local Streaming checkbox was checked but in fact it should have been "unchecked".
