Music On Hold Space Limitations
« on: June 22, 2017, 01:03:20 PM »
I have a question about Music on Hold

We currently have 21 sites all trunking back to our corporate office (despite having their own controllers).

Everything is working as intended except our music on hold. It seems there's only 16mb available for files to be uploaded and it's just not enough room. Even compressed and shortened, we're around 30mb.

Has anyone ever come across this issue? We've discussed flexible dimension and 3rd party vendors but no one seems to really be a solution. I would think that since our machine is virtualized we could change the space available.

Any ideas?

The help file doesn't seem to leave any room to think that this can be changed.

You will probably need to configure a SIP device to play "Live Music on Hold" as per the help file:
