Phone feature query. Is it possible??
« on: September 10, 2010, 04:42:06 AM »
Hi,

Hopefully someone can assist with a setup query.

We have 2 sites not linked at all via the phone system though. At present the one site has a number that when callers ring autoforwards straight to site 2. This is where the staff are based to take these calls.

My question is. When it forwards to the site2's phone can that then be passed around the dept if that phone is in use and if it cascades around 3 phones and doesnt get answered goes to the voicemail of the site2's

phone not the original site 1 number?

We have a Mitel 3300 System with 5312 and 5324 handsets.

Help very much appreciated.

yes, you need to put a reroute 1st alt on the phone that rings in site2 to forward on busy/no answer to a group and also a second reroute to voicemail. You will need to make sure that the phone has a mialbox created in the voicemail.

Thanks for your help.

Is it possible to setup a remote voicemail also? To be offsite and be able to dial in to listen to any messages left on the mailbox? If so i would be very greatful to know whats steps are needed.
