Premier Telecom Products DVR-1C
« on: May 12, 2017, 08:58:00 PM »
I have a couple of these used and was wondering if anyone out there knows the hook up? I think they are recorded announcement devices. Adding a picture. I understand the power connection and the strap for DC Ring won't be needed. Just uncertain about the DTMF versus LINE connections.

Any help would be appreciated

Wow.  I haven't seen one of them in at least 25 years.  Maybe 30.
We uses to use them for RADs on the 2k.
At some places it seemed we had a wall full of them.
Where'd you come up with this one?

I don't remember ever using the DTMF port. But it's been a long time ago.
I do remember that we couldn't use a Mitel handset for the recording.  There was something about the wiring of the handset that was different.

I took these off a wall several years ago. I think a carbon mic based handset is what is needed. I have a need for a couple of hotel wake up rads and hope these will work

I'm pretty sure it was just power and T&R.
