5330 phone settings page
« on: February 16, 2017, 11:55:14 AM »
How do I enable more setting options?
Shouldn't I be able to go to settings and scroll to see the phones IP address and network settings?
I only get text size, brightness and about

dan231,

What is it that you are trying to do?

When the phone boots up you can access the configuration settings that you can change.

When the phone boots up you can access the Teleworker Mode.

After it is up you can only access the HTML options that you can change. Otherwise you can only view certain things like the network address once it is up and running.

Thanks,

TE

Trying to locate the phones IP address.  I do not see any network view options once the phone is up and running.

dan231,

There are a few ways to do this.

1. Go into Database Programming and then go to Operations > IP Device Status. Once it is done look for the extension of the phone you want to know the IP Address of.

2. If the IP Addresses are being issued from the MiVO-250 than use the System Administration and Diagnostics (SAaD) go to DHCP Lease Viewer, but you would need to know the phones MAC Address.

3. There is a way to do it through the phone using the volume keys and the 2 key I believe, but I never use that option so I can't help with that one. I believe it is holding down both volume buttons than releasing the bottom followed by the top one and then pressing the 2 key or something along those lines. Unfortunately I am not near a phone attached to a MiVO-250 today so I can't help with that one.

Thanks,

TE

Thanks for that info - there's no phone menu options for this?  That is different from the Cisco phones I had been used to at the other job

Press and hold both up arrow and down arrow keys. Release the down arrow key.

While still holding the up arrow key, dial 234 on the keypad. The display will show NETWORK PARAMETERS, and you can scroll through the menu.

dan231,

Well I hate to say it, but not all vendors phones work the same in this regard. I believe that Mitel prefers to make it more difficult to get to that type of information for the average user; unlike Cisco.

DND ON,

I knew there was a way to do that, but I never have a need to use it, but thanks for the information.

Thanks,
