Sidetone adjustment
« on: November 12, 2016, 01:50:28 PM »
I'm wondering if anyone knows if the "sidetone" can be adjusted on the Mitel sets.  The phone is being hooked up to an audio system/microphones/speakers through the headset jack and I would like to eliminate or at least lower the sidetone.  I have done this in the configuration files of other phone systems but I don't know how to on the Mitel.

I am interested in this as well.

I have a requirement for connecting a Mitel handset/headset port to a radio broadcasting studio.

I know there is equipment (hybrid) that can be connected for this purpose but the client wants it directly connected to the phone if possible.

I have asked our Mitel team who have said it's not possible. They were going to pose the question to developers to see if it can be done in firmware.
i have heard nothing back and expect that I won't.

It's not possible in the current systems.
I wonder if you could feed the audio through a PC using Audacity or Mixcraft and filter it out using gates.
