Enhanced Integration with Exchange 2013
« on: August 18, 2016, 09:21:52 AM »
I believe I have the configuration correct because I get the Welcome email but no voicemail emails ever come across.   I don't even see the controller try as there are no new entries in the mail.mainlog file.    I do see the communication for the Welcome message in this log but nothing after that unless I change the synchronization type and it sends a new welcome message.    If I change synchronization to forward or forward & copy the messages do come accross.

That's odd...you shouldn't even get the welcome email.

Start here

I have a bunch of posts on here with the same issue that I've worked through.

jchristman2002,

The Welcome Message from the Mitel 5000/MiVoice Office 250 is sent via SMTP and not the route that email may take through IMAP; that may be causing some of your confusion.

So with what you are saying you have your E-Mail Gateway setup just fine under System\E-Mail Gateway as well as System\IP Settings for the DNS Suffix as well as DNS servers.

What you may not have setup correctly is the remainder of what is needed for Enhanced Integration to work so start looking at that.

Thanks,

TE

All components are showing Active.

Also the Microsoft Remote Connectivity shows that MAPI is working correctly.

jchristman2002,

What version of system software do you have on your Mitel 5000?

Thanks,

TE

Well it looks like starting the msExchangeIMAP4 and msExchangeIMAP4BE was it.

I never noticed that the services were not started and it is strange because the MRCA tool tested MAPI and said it was working.

It did take nearly 9 minutes for the email to actually come into outlook though so I am looking into that one now.
