If its a DDI (or DID) then yes its easy. Depending on level of software and its  A 3300 you can just do a system speedcal using the presented number to the extn number. later software has a DID form that does similar.

If its not a DDI then just tell it in the trunk attributes where to go i.e. the required extn. Use non dial in trunks answer point.

If the sent digits match your exten numbering plan then you will have to have the specific extn that has the same digits.

I don't think I understand your question.
Do you want to forward an extension to an outside number?
Or
Do you want to forward an outside number that's not on your PBX to an internal extension number?

Hi Ralph,

I want to forward an outside number that's not on my PBX to an internal extension number.

Thanks,

I think what Ralph is asking, is it for an internal user that is dialling a number which would normally go out but you want it dealt with locally?
Because if that's the case, that's a cool question.

If you're talking about an outside user dialling a number that you don't own...well, that would be a silly question...
