Call Forward Always coming back to Nupoint
« on: December 02, 2016, 02:25:10 PM »
I have a new install of MCD 8.0 and MiCollab and SIP trunking, everything is working fine except I have about 30 users who won't be moving to the new location for a few weeks but there phones are in place at the new location. They have DID's from a shared tenant lease space they using right now, so we built a Call Forward Always profile for each user on their phone at the new location that points to their old DID number and it works, but if I call the extension or new DID, after 15 seconds it is coming back to Nupoint instead of ringing through the VM on the far end... I think there is a COS option that controls this, but for the life of me I can't find it.

It's the call forward RNA timer of the COS.
If you're using Call Rerouting for RNA, remove it and it should work fine then.

Yeah, that's ringing some bells now... Which COS, trunk or station?

Remove it completely, or just increase it to like 60 seconds?

EDIT: Nevermind... I will probably just be better off to change the Call Reroute 1st Alternative back to one, otherwise I have to make a new COS and apply it anyway. CFNA timer is for Call Reroute as well it seems.

I really wish I could just find a way to set Call Forward Always to override any Call Reroute... would be so much easier.
