mitel 3000

im trying to get a ip phone working on a 3000 with a broadband module. i have the dsl connected to the module and off that i have the ip set. on the ip set i get dhcp discovery option 128 missing. i can plug my computer into the phone and get on the internet but i cant get the phone working. i have the dhcp turned on in the broadband unit qne voip interface changed to iplan. what am i missing.

Ok.  I'm making a lot of assumptions here so bear with me if this doesn't work.
Boot the phone while hold the 7 key.   It will ask you if you want to enter a TW (Teleworker) IP address.   
Enter in the IP address of the external interface of your 3000 or Teleworker Server.   
Bear in mind that the IP address can't start with a 192.168 or 10.   If it does then you can't do this without adding a Mitel Border Gateway.
