Setting up DTS on an analog trunk
« on: October 05, 2015, 11:12:15 AM »
Hello,

I am trying to set up DTS on an analog line in a 3300.  It has release level 7.0 SP1 PR1 and software load 13.0.1.28.  The analog trunk that I would like to use does not have the DTS service number set.  When I attempt to make the change it does not hold and does not appear to give me any type of error.  I did try and busy out the trunk and make the change, but this also did not take.  I am thinking the trunk is linked or something else along the way of busying out the trunk.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mark

What browser are you using?

I notice with Firefox I get no error indication, using IE I get more info that can help diagnose the issue.

Stupid question but you have defined the DTS service number in the Analog trunks form and completed the DTS service profile form?

sarond:  I will try Internet Explorer.  I have been using Firefox.

x-man:  Yes, the DTS server number has been set up.  When I try to edit the trunk, the drop down boxes are grayed out to change.

Thank you,

Mark

Sarond:  That was the way to go.  I used Explorer to access the settings and when I went to save I got the error message "DTS and Trunk service are mutually exclusive".

Thank you

No Prob.

I get this all the time, it just seems Mitel still doesn't play as nicely with Firefox even though it is now supported.

From what I've read on the release notes for MCD 7.2 (just came out), they're trying to address that. Loading it in my lab as I type this to do some testing.

Yes they have gotten rid of pop ups now, using some other method.
Similar to the A400 series PBX.
