Rerouting - Huntgroups
« on: April 14, 2010, 02:05:46 AM »
Hi everybody.

I have a system 3300 Mxe with software release 8.

i incoming call is directed to a hunt group (680) and has one member, if this phone dont answer it is rerouted to anothe huntgroup (685) this hunt group has a multicall as members (3 members in that multicall) if no one here answers it rerouts to a last huntgroup (690) and this group has a multicall as members.

the call rerouting looks like this.

EXT             call rerouting 1:a
680                 4 (points to 685)
685                 5 (points to 690)

hopefull someone understands my picture above :)

the above do not work. it works between tha first group and the second, but from second to third do not work.

My question is:
Can i do the config as above so the system supports it?

If yes, any ide

Try making the 690 number be the call reroute second alternative for the original number (680 I think you said). You may need to play with some timers to get the desired results but I think that should do what you are wanting.

You could upgrade to a version that has ring groups and use the cascade ring to do the same thing. I think you would need to go to at least 9.0 for that.
