Hello

could anyone help with this CCS trace:

15:48:11 RI7 DPN F  CRM/CIM ;7;*166*1 2 3 4#

Reading from the manual it's a bit vague whether this call would even leave the system,

7 means: Congestion, Used When PBX equipment or suitable routes are busy.
166: Service information, 1: Call offer not possible, 2:Executive Intrusion not possible, 3:Call back when free not possible, 4: Call back messaging not possible

Sooooo, has this call even left the 3300 or is the trace telling me there's something network side that is clearing the call down??

There is no way to get an incoming CIM/CRM if there has not been en ISRM before. This is only the last part of the communication. What kind of trunks are these?

You have a CCM which indicates the call has been connected successfully. So it looks like the CRM/CIM is coming from the other end. These are not 0844 numbers by any chance are they? I wonder if they have been busied out because of the new rules?

Where would the clear be coming from though??

On further reading of the CCS book it looks like its coming from the 3300 because you are listening to a busy signal and I suspect that there is some kind of timer for this so you can't hang on too long to a busy line. Its a bit like the amount of time you can sit and listen to a ring tone before it times out as far as I can see; caveat I am no expert.

This has all info that indicates it is an issue on the other side. The next step would be to trace the ISDN messages EDT Tr TSP L2L3 x x x x (x x x x is the PLID)
