Maid codes not working with PMS

I have a customer with a SX200 that allows maid codes to be entered at the room phone, but it does not change the status of the room, particularly in the PMS. Any suggestions as to what might be blocking the codes?

Use the Mitel PMS Emulator and see if the Room Codes are being passed to the PMS system (which they probably are), once you can prove it to the customer they will have to go back to their PMS providor to find out why they are not processing the data properly.

Are the names being updated by the PMS, when a guest checks in?
The PMS feature either works, or it doesn't!  There's nothing 'we' could do, if we wanted to, to pick and choose, which information is exchanged!

The PMS interface for the 200 and the VMS both work. The PMS company uses non standard maid codes, so the request was cancelled instead of pursuing a solution in vain.
