Lifesize Icon
« on: April 30, 2015, 09:55:58 PM »
Has anyone used the Lifesize Icon 400/600 on MCD? I have a customer who decided to purchase a couple and now wants me to configure them. I found a KB, but it is a little unclear if it works or if this was just a test to the UC360. I assume the audio portion would work fine, I just want to see it they can make video calls to one another or not.

The attached guide from Mitel should help.  Have not done it myself in "the real world" though, so might not be able to help any debug efforts.  Mitel guide reference number is 13-4940-00270.

I would think that if it can be made to call a UC360, it should just as well make a call to another unit with voice and video support.

I made the voice side work and that was the event of my evolvement. They haven't decided what they want to do with the video.

I would think if you disabled the video codec as described i.e. H.263 and allowed H.264, then video should work.
