PSTN Call Records now showing incoming numbers.
« on: December 16, 2014, 06:34:56 PM »
We've been having some issues trying to check back in our phone records for numbers that have called into our PBX system. All of our incoming calls come in as "RING...", or are blank when I check them in the PSTN call records. The phones that ring when an outside line calls in do show a caller ID of the number calling, but it doesn't look like it gets recorded to our PSTN records. Is there anything I'm missing, or is that just the way the Mitel system behaves?

Quest_For_Knowledge,

Look under Maintenance > SMDR > Devices and see if all your devices are listed. Also look to see what gets recorded and what doesn't via the yes/no of each record type.

Thanks,

TE

All devices were listed under the Devices section in SMDR, and there was an option for "Suppress Outside Party Number" that was set to "Yes." I'm assuming that'd be what's causing the issue? I changed it to "No" and see where it goes from there. Thanks!
