Blind Transfer from EMEM
« on: April 24, 2014, 07:07:38 AM »
looking for means to do a blind transfer from embedded voicemail. What I have is a multi level AA. option 1 goes to and extension, I then want it to go to that extensions mailbox however it returns to the main MLAA tree.

Thanks in advance

It is an option right in the main VM options, called "Unsupervised Transfer"

Appreciate the reply... "Enable supervised transfer" is set to false yet the call returns to the MLAS on a transfer.... Any other thoughts?

Look at the transfer recall timer in the COS to see if it's too short.
You may have to modify the trunks COS and the VM port COS.

Did you verify both the VM COS and the Trunk COS?

I think you will have to break integration for this one. So you will have to invoke a name tag hunt group to send the call to a dummy number and then off to the voicemail of the extension. I believe its because the Mitel knows its a trunk call it transferring and therefore the correct option is to send it back to the MLAA on time out (the originating answer point according to mitel). The name tag breaks this integration and allows the VM to process the call.

So basically you set up a NTHG to be the forward extension of the extension that the MLAA routed to (*xxxx using the same DN of the extension) and then reroute this always (*xxxx) to voicemail and this will drop the call into the extensions voicemail.

Can you please explain this a little further. So in the MLAA, I set the option to a transfer mailbox, the extension of this is the nthg re routed always to voicemail? Sorry I don't really get the wording
