Reseliency through ip trunking not working correctly
« on: October 09, 2014, 03:09:24 PM »
Mitel friends,

I have two Mitel 3300 Mxe configured with reseliency trough ip trunking. The synchronisation is working ok. When i programm one phone on Node A(Primary) it will appear on Node B(Secondary). The problem i am having is that when the IP Phones does not work when i disconnect the connection of the primary Node (A). Foresome reason the ip phones doesnot see the secondary PBX.

Can somebody help me out with this ?

Best Regards,

Gimitel

What happens when you unplug the lan connection of A? Do the phones get the blinking square or do they reboot? Can a phone ping Controller B?

So the systems are clustered (as opposed to just IP Trunking that is only there for calls between controllers)?

Are both controllers on the same LAN or different segments? Possibly a network drawing might help here.
