Hi, I am not very experienced with the Mitel system (nor VOIP in general).

I have previously managed to reprogram the controller to accept an external audio source for MOH.

What I want to do, is have a sipgate account at home on a normal SIP phone (done).
Configure a sipgate account as a trunk on the Mitel system so that the home user can call the Mitel system (call the office) without charge (as its Sipgate to Sipgate).
The SIP trunk shouldn't be used for outgoing calls on the Mitel system, unless they are ringing another Sipgate user (the numbers will be known).

Is this possible to do?

And if so, would any of you kind people be willing to help me?

Regards

Rick

Simple answer is yes. Just configure the SIP trunk on the Mitel and any calls made on it to other Sipgate users would be free.

Only Sipgate users is a little more difficult unless you know all the number ranges that Sipgate has so that you can programme them into the Mitel ARS. Otherwise its a manual selection for known sipgate users with a seperate prefix for trunk selection.
