Silent Monitor restrictions
« on: September 09, 2013, 12:06:04 PM »
Is there a way to restrict who can be silent monitored.

For example...

We have 5 sales teams in an office.  The manager of a team should be able to monitor only the people on their team.

Keep in mind all our sales people are in a COS that can be monitored.

Thanks for the help.

Silent monitoring is based on the COS of the phone.
You have a setting that allows the phone to be monitored and a setting to allow a phone to monitor.

If you allow a phone to monitor anyone, it will be allowed to monitor every phone that is allowed to be monitored.

I wonder if you can interconnect restrict or tenant the phones so they couldn't monitor each other.

I guess if you did that they wouldn't be able to call each other.
