Mitel 250 6.3 networking question
« on: May 23, 2019, 06:43:07 PM »
I am networking 2 Mitel 250’s for first time. Do I need to change the device baseline extension for all options to be different between both nodes? One node is 1XX and the other 2XX.  When I import do I need to select all options before importing or just devices?  All they the really need is dialing extension to extension and maybe allow trunk overflow for dialing out. Any help appreciated

I'm curious on the trunk overflow. I've gotten it working in the past following the built in wizard and just devices but it was a real basic setup.

Willtech,

The main thing is that you don't want any extension conflict; typically. There are a few minor cases where an extension conflict is advantageous, but for the most part just keep both sites segregated.

NEPhoneGuy,

What do you want to know about Trunk Overflow in a MiVO-250?

Thanks,

TE

The node IDs need to be unique, or the systems will never link up. P6001 for node 1 is good, with P6002 for node 2.

Do a complete import/ export of all devices - keep the databases in synch.

Trunk overflow is simple ARS programming
