Analog Phone auto dialing
« on: July 17, 2018, 10:29:13 AM »
Hey Folks,

I'd like to setup an analog phone that gives the user the option upon picking up the handset of  pressing 1 for 1800xxxxxx and pressing 2 for 1800xxxxxxx.  I've programmed auto dial's on an analog phone before but only for extensions on the phone system.  In those cases it's been one number not two.

What other options should I be looking at?  Would an auto attendant be a better option?  Can anyone direct me to an administration guide for creating auto attendants/calling trees?  This is a Mitel 3300 system.  I'm using an analog phone because the "type" of people who will be using this phone might walk away with an IP phone if I place that.

Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or jumping off points/guides I can reference here or otherwise.

Thanks,

Dan

Set the hotline destination to be an auto-attendant that offers the options you want, instead of a specific station/speed call.
