Using MTS Message manager
« on: June 22, 2018, 11:40:52 AM »
I have a new customer that wants to keep using their old MTS message manager on their copper MTS lines To access this on their current system, they simply dial *99.
However while testing the 5000, when I sieze a trunk and dial *99 the phone display says - Feature cancelled.
Any ideas why this is and how to get it working?

rick,

* is the cancel function on the MiVO-250 so when you dial the Feature code for outgoing, typically 8, and then hit * it is cancelling the Outgoing Feature.

You would need to direct access the trunk via the Trunk or CO Trunk Group Extension and then dial your star code.

The other option is to add a dial code to your ARS that you want to use your star code with.

Thanks,

TE
