Phone Display on outbound call

Just want to check with you all. I upgraded a customer from version 6.X to latest 8. Since then their phones display the outbound dialed number plus a trunk number. This wasn't the case prior, only the dialed number.

This dials out through ip trunks to another controller before using sip for final call placement. My concern isn't high since the calls function, just looking to know what changed to make this happen. FWIW all trunk attribute settings have no labels. The trunk number displayed is random and has no correlation to customer data.  Could this be coming from the carrier now? the what's new hasn't shed much light on this for me.
