Mitel 5330 Calls auto answering

I have a 5340 IP Phone that when called, internally and externally, is immediately answered by speaker phone.  I programmed an auto answer button and verified that it is not enabled.  Is there somewhere else this could be programmed at?  Also calls are dropping after talkinf for about a minute.

I had a service call just like this today but with a 4025.  Auto answer was on.

Is the COS of that phone the same as every other phone?

Also, have you gone to maintenance commands and entered: Loc Fe Ext <ext>?

The user has inadvertently turned on the Auto Answer feature. Add a Superkey to one of the keys via either the phone's programming or ESM and then go through the menus, there is an option to Auto Answer, and turn it off... Just removing the feature from COS will not disable it if it's already active.

Well, just as I as I made my last post the my customer called in and said what I gave her to turn off the AA didn't work.
It was a 5330 not a 4025. 
Turns out, I had to add a AA button to the phone, had her press it, then deleted the button.

I've no idea how she turned it on.   She doesn't have a SuperKey.

So I programmed an Auto Answer button on the phone and Auto Answer was off.  When I press the button, it lights the button, which to me tells me Auto Answer is enabled.  I placed a test call and it rings multiple times on my end but on the 5340 phone it rings a half of a ring, and accordiding to the customer some of the buttons light up and the display reads "invalid".  Any suggestions?

Verify the volume is turned up on the phone, a half-ring followed by silence is a typical indication the ringer is turned off. Also, verify Headset mode is turned off, you will likely have to program a button for that as well. If all that fails, consider replacing the set.

Did you go to maintenance commands and enter this:
Loc Fe Ext <ext>?

What did it say?

Ralph,  I did the Loc Fe Ext command and it was blank for features

I have verified that Auto Answer is disabled Calls are still auto answering.  I have gone to the Maintenance command and entered Loc Fe Ext and it states no features active.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks.

Yup... First thing I would do now is blow away the extension, build a dummy one, then rebuild the extension with a default COS, then delete the dummy one, and see if the problem persists, if it does replace the set, if it doesn't then change the COS back to what it was and if all good your all set, if the problem crops up again turn off COS features until you find the culprit!

The dummy extension is just a placeholder so you don't rebuild the phone with the same software ID, it's an old SX200 trick when you have strange feature issues.

Deleting the extension and re-creating corrected the issue.  Thanks for your help.
