cannot Validate License
« on: September 29, 2016, 06:10:01 AM »
Hi Friends,

I am having an issue to download the license from AMC.
The SWAS was expired but the was renewed. But still when trying to download the license i am gettingSystem Capacity Server Error: Attempt to activate the License Manager has failed. Error details can be found in the Maintenance and Software Logs.

From the pbx i can ping google dns, so i have connection on the internet. In the AMC i can see the that all have been downloaded !
But i have no license yet on the pbx.

Can someone help.

Thanks

Gimitel

Have you looked in the Maintenance and Software Logs? What does it tell you.

I wonder if you have tried to exceed some total that you are not allowed to exceed. For instance a max number of IP licences?

Look in your licensing page and see if it tells you anything there.

I don’t have access to the pbx now, but what I remember is I saw the message that cannot validate license with AMC.
This is really strange. Is there a way I can download the licenses on mi laptop and load it offline onto the pbx?

I do have connection with the AMC, because yesterday when the AMC was down i received another error message. "Unable to set connection with AMC Error code 75"

Ah, sorry SWA is only done on the AMC so check your account on the AMC and see if it has SWA or not.

Arrgghhh... If I had a dollar for every time I did that, well, lets just say I would have a few dollars. I usually realize it before opening a ticket with support, but it's got me a couple times over the years.

If I had a dollar for every time a woman told me I wasn't attractive, they'd eventually find me very attractive.  ;D
