Mitel with MS UM

I am setting up a Mitel 3300 with MS UM as the voicemail

this is just as a demo

Sip trunk is up and connected but i am getting Access denied when i call the number for the SIP trunk

anyone had this before

 ?

ccs trace from failing call

dialing 6999 is the number for the UM voicemail this is a ARS digit pointed to a SIP route to the UM server


SIP is in service just cannot get the UM server to answer


any ideas ?

Just a quick check point because if I don't ask I seem to always regret it.
Have you checked your COR?
COS Public Network connections?
Interconnect Restrictions?

i am getting a busy tone after about 15 secs

just found a TIB and all my settings are right

helps when the guy setting up exchange listerns to the mitel engineer and sets the connection to use tcp not tls
