Fax to Email not working after migrating to Office 365 passing through SMTP relay

I'm on version 2.3.6.73, Tech says I need to upgrade to version 6. I dont want to believe that initially because all I changed was some STMP relay info to authenticate. Can anybody confirm this?

Chris

Fax to email? What device is doing this, the 5000 doesn't have an embedded fax server unless you are using something like Enterprise Messaging.

Or do you mean voice mail to email?

Pretty sure from memory you will need v6 if you are relating to voicemail to email.

I confirmed with Mitel that the version I have is not compatible with Office 365 email. Thanks

FirstSource,

If you are not trying to do enhanced integration it will most definitely work with Office 365, but you can only use port 25 and do forward and copy integration.

Thanks,

TE
