Reports
« on: December 03, 2014, 09:55:50 AM »
Hi all -

Hopefully an easy one...

I need to be able to run reports on how many external calls came in, where they went, etc....Also, I need a report off all teleworker phones that are setup and working on our network.  We have 7 clusters on a 3300 with Nupoint.

Thanks for your help!
Bobby

For the teleworker phones, just log into your MBG(s) and see what is connected.

For the report of the calls, not so easy.   You can enter the command "logs re smdr new 1000" and if SMDR is set up in your system it will show you the last 1000 calls.   (Check the help files for other SMDR log command options.)   It will be a lot of work to sort out what each of those calls are doing.   You may have to consider buying a call accounting package if you need this for long term.

Adding on to what ralph said, you can also have continuous capture of the SMDR files by having a putty session on port 1752 of the MCD.

MiCCM will do this. But I don't think it is cheap.
