Markdevoll,

Here is the answer from the Help Files on that subject as I have not seen that one yet on a Basic Voice Mail [BVM].

Quote
For the BVM system, this is a CRITICAL error. The BVM cannot initialize the resources necessary to perform BVM audio. When this occurs, the system will stop BVM and schedule a delayed major reset. Note that the BVM is not usable after this alarm occurs. From the endpoint administrator perspective, two alarms appear in succession (alarm 201 and then eventually alarm 203). If the technician does not reset the system, a delayed major reset will attempt to clear the problem. For a 5000 CP system with a PS-1, both the PS-1 and BS will reboot as a result of the delayed major.

If the VM unit is the Basic Voice Mail, create a Remedy ticket and enable Automatic Diagnostics Delivery (ADD). Send the ADD freeze to Mitel Tech Support. If the system does not reboot, the BVM is not functional. In order to determine the root cause, the BVM logs (/var/log/intl/avdap_log.txt*) and RCH log (/var/log/intl/rch_app_8.log) are needed. Note that in version 2.0, the web-page can be used to extract the "zip" logs (if ADD is not functional). It is crucial not to reboot the system before pulling the logs since the logs are on the RAM drive. After getting the log files, a system reboot may be performed.

Thanks,

TE
