MOH in Hunt Group
« on: July 03, 2014, 11:57:59 AM »
So I have a customer with a 5000 CP v6 system with an ACD Hunt Group, and what they want in Busy/NA condition is to have:

1) Call rings in (caller hears ringback)
2) After 18 seconds an announcement plays with an option to stay on the line or press 2 to leave a message
3) Caller gets Music-On-Hold
4) Caller listens to MOH for another 45 seconds
5) Same annoucement as step #2
6) Caller gets Music-On-Hold
7) Steps 4-5 repeat for 5 minutes
8) Caller is sent to a CRA with options

Now, I have all this working in a single ACD group, EXCEPT I cannot get MOH to play between the various announcements, it just gives the caller ringback again... Am I missing something, or do I have to create a second group and recall the first group to a second one with the Audio for Calls Ringing this Device set to 5000 CP?

Thanks for any guidance...

You've changed the "Audio for Calls Camped onto this Device and Audio for Calls Ringing this Device to File-Based MoH?

The 3300 ACD gives ringing until first RAD is played, then can select an audio source. In the 5000, customer needs to decide between ringing or audio source. You will need to change the camp-on and ringing this device to the MOH file as Hovus mentioned. The callers will then hear the MOH instead of ringing.

Still didn't work...

EDIT: Nevermind, I had to go into the trunk group and change all the audio sources to "Use Next Device's Audio Source", after I did that, the two hunt group method worked as needed.

Hi Ace,

Does the DDI associated with the ACD huntgroup go there via a CRT?  If so have you tried setting up a MOH profile and assigning it to the DDI on the CRT?

Regards

Chris

My default DB has "Use Next Devices Audio Source" in the TG. I forgot about that. Nice catch Ace!
