I'd backup from the lower version and restore to the newer version but should be ok.

Should be fine if both versions were in the 8.0.

I have tried restoring databases, on the same controller, after installing much older software(ie from 9.0 or 8.0 to 6.0 or 7.0).  After the manual software install went well, the database restore would kill the contoller.  Had to stop the boots process, then manually upgrade to a newer version, before restoring sucessfully.
Tried this couple of times.. same result.  I beleive someone else posted similar findings, in another thread, months ago.

Running the commands from the article seem to have fixed the issue, I have just completed a System State backup and the error is not appearing in the event log.

an "FDSpak", from the maker of the PowerPak was mentioned  in another thread, but no word at all from the maker of the PowerPak. I wish Tomy could make some sort of FDS backup solution for copying to and from FDS and a PC.

I have come close Ralph - he/she is often incoherent.  I wasn't sure if was a language thing but posts like this one make me doubt it.

  WRABBAKS73 - any explanation?

I've seen a few of these type post.   I even deleted a few.   Im pretty sure it spam but can't quite figure out what object is unless it's to get a posting on line so their user name shows, if the user name is followed then there is a section there for "website".   In theory, if a search engine follows this it would appear as  a link and thus (in theory again) build google page rank.     Don't know.
