How To Find The Software Version Of Mitel 3300 CX
« on: August 16, 2013, 09:02:43 AM »
Hello i recently inherited a Mitel 3300 CX system, don't know what version software it is running and i cannot log into the system via web browsing, i know the ip address is 192.168.1.2 and i get the log in details of username and password but when i enter system and then password it doesn't accept it.

I also have an rs232 cable connected to the system running hyperterminal.

Any advice or help would be appreciated

"swrevs" from the "->" prompt on the serial port will tell you.

Not sure what this means

I have also tried "ResetAllLoginPasswords" as i cannot log into the system because i don't know the passwords etc etc
But it's not working and i cannot log in

I have seen different formats to that resel all passwords command. It seems to change between releases. You should try some of the other formats since you don't know what load you have.
