suite DID
« on: July 01, 2009, 11:01:14 AM »
Any one tell me what will be the configuration to be needed to display DID from the suite, and Suite configurations are "pilot number is 1001 and extensions are 2001, 3001 & 4001". I need DID number 5557301 to display from suite 1001 and all incoming to 5557301 to route to a suite 1001. (DID ranges are 5557301 to 5557650) total 350 DID numbers. Now what I can do is 1001 is substituting under DID to 5557301 and the problem is have to enter one bye one & cannot give range. The DID index is only 100, but I need 350 suites to be configure like that.

Is that one of the forms that have the import option?  Perhaps you could build it out in Excel....

It still would not have enough fields for 350 entries.

I know that if the extension #'s are the same as the DIDs you can do a range using wildcards. I have never tried it this way though.

ie.   DID Range                    CPN Substitution
      7301-7650                     5557xxx

I know that it will work like this, give it a shot using your suite numbers and let us know what it does.

In the form DID Ranges for CPN Substitution assuming your suites are 1001 to 1350

DID Range               CPN Subsitution

1001-1350              5557XXX

For your inbound you have two options

System Speedcall where you take your inbound digits 5557301 and speedcall it to 1001

or

Trunk Service Assignment where you absorb the digit 7 and insert the digit 1 but this will do it for all inbound calls using that trunk service assignment

all,
i tried the option that mentioned by v2win, but it shows the system main number for outgoing CLI and incomming is working with speed calls like as mentioned.
my DID range is " 7301 to 7650" and suite pilot number is 1001 to 1650.
I need without cahnging the suite pilot number to show the CLI as a DID number.

Sometimes when you make changes to the DID/CPN blocks you will need to restart the PRI ckt.
