ACD Set Names
« on: April 09, 2013, 07:31:24 PM »
Is ther a way that I can make it so that when and ACD phone is logged in it will still send the caller ID name of the set? The problem is, when the ACD sets are logged in, and they call another phone, the reciving end just sees the extension number and no name. I know that I can add the Agent ID codes to the teldir with a name but the problem with that is that people dont always use the same codes. It also means changing two names when there is a new person.

Are they hot desk ACD?
Are you calling across a cluster?

No, they are traditional ACD agents. They do call across the cluster but that's not specific where the problem is occurring.

Then your choice is programming a name against the ACD ID in the tel dir.
