hot desking

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get hot desking working but I'm not succeeding.

Here's what I've done so far:

my phone extension is 5042

I've created a new extension:  3042
Within the parameters of that extension, I've configured:
firstname
lastname
number: 3042
hot desking user: checked

service tab:
external hot desking enabled: yes
external hot desking dialing prefix: 9  ( we dial 9 to dial out)
external hot desking number:  <my cellphone number that I wish to be reached at >

access and authentification tab:
user pin:  <entered>
confirm user pin:  <entered>


I've also gone in the "feature access code" form and added the following:
Hot desk login:  *99*
Hot desk logout: *88*


from my 5312ip phone extension 5042, when I dial *99*   immediately it says not allowed on the display

what am I missing?

update: 

after modifying the COS to allow logging in hot desk,  I can login


How can i transfer calls to my cell though??

You should be able to transfer using the EHDU extension 3042.
You  need to make sure that it is logged in, otherwise enable 'Hot Desk External User – Permanent Login' in it's COS.
